The BASF House

BASF, the leading raw material supplier to the construction industry, built an energy efficient and affordable demonstration house at the University of Nottingham. It is part of the Creative Energy Homes Project, which aims to stimulate sustainable design ideas and promote new ways of providing environmentally sustainable houses.

The Victorian Terrace

BASF is working with BRE and partners to transform a disused Victorian Terrace into energy efficient spaces fit for 21st century living. It will house an Information Centre where visitors will be able to learn about best practice refurbishment. (Picture Peter White, BRE)

Cognis acquisition

Following BASF's acquisition of Cognis, the former Cognis site in Cork is operated by BASF Ireland Limited. Sales of Care Chemical products are handled by BASF UK Limited. The former Cognis site in Hythe was sold to Geo Speciality Chemicals.
